PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation is excited to announce the commencement of its new initiative, the “Accelerating Community Commitment Towards Ensuring Safer Services for the Reproductive Health of Women and Girls in Oyo State” (ACCESS Project). This critical project, which is generously funded by AmplifyChange, aims to enhance access to safe and quality reproductive health services for women and girls across the state.
The ACCESS Project seeks to address significant gaps in reproductive health care in Oyo State, focusing on empowering communities to take an active role in improving the quality and safety of services provided to women and girls. With a collaborative, community-based approach, the project will engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure lasting changes that prioritize the well-being and rights of women and girls.
In light of this, PLAN Foundation is organizing an Establishment and Orientation of the Project Planning and Implementation Meeting today, Tuesday, September 24th, at 10:00 AM. The event will serve as a critical platform to introduce key stakeholders to the project and initiate dialogue on effective strategies for the successful execution of the ACCESS Project.

The meeting will bring together health professionals, community leaders, government representatives, and civil society organizations, all of whom play a vital role in ensuring that the project’s goals are met. Participants will be introduced to the scope and objectives of the ACCESS Project and will discuss collaborative strategies to foster a more supportive environment for reproductive health services in the state.
Amplify Change’s generous funding for the ACCESS Project underscores the urgent need to accelerate community commitment to reproductive health, particularly in under-resourced regions like Oyo State. Through this partnership, the ACCESS Project is expected to drive systemic improvements and create more resilient health systems capable of meeting the needs of women and girls.
The project also highlights PLAN Foundation’s unwavering commitment to advocating for the reproductive health rights of marginalized groups, including women and girls in rural areas. By providing safer and more accessible services, the ACCESS Project aims to reduce the barriers that women and girls face in obtaining critical health care.
“We are thrilled to launch this project and work with our partners to create lasting change,” said a spokesperson from PLAN Foundation. “The ACCESS Project represents an important step in ensuring that women and girls in Oyo State receive the quality reproductive health services they deserve.”
As the ACCESS Project officially kicks off, PLAN Foundation invites all stakeholders to join in this collective effort to advance the reproductive health landscape in Oyo State, laying the foundation for healthier and more empowered communities.
