Over the years, he has actively contributed to building community, civil society, and activists’ networks, coalitions, and movements at national, regional, and international levels.
Obatunde was/is:
- Former Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OYSACA), 2017–2019.
- Founding member and Executive Steering Committee (ESC) member of the African Community Advisory Board (AfroCAB).
- Former member of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) World Community Advisory Board (World CAB).
- Founding member and National Coordinator of the Treatment Action Movement (TAM), Nigeria.
- Co-founder and National Secretary of the Civil Society for the Eradication of Tuberculosis in Nigeria (TB Network).
- Former Community Representative on the Core Group of the Stop TB Partnership’s TB/HIV Working Group.
- Member of the Global Coalition of Community TB Activists (GCTA).
- Former member of the Communities Delegation of the Joint United Nations Programme on AIDS (UNAIDS).
- TB Civil Society Representative on the Community Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) Nigeria.
- National Coordinator of the Society for the Elimination of HIV among Children (SEHAC).
- Member of the Long-Acting Technologies Community Advisory Board (LAT CAB).
He has experience working on evidence-based advocacy and activism, focusing on eliciting real-life, convincing, and community-based information through consultation with, seeking input from, and learning from affected communities and populations in support of decision-making and policy formulation on issues relevant to health, poverty alleviation, women empowerment, community engagement, mainstreaming disability for inclusivity, and resource mobilization.
His organization has been actively addressing the intersection of health and economic development of women, youths, persons living with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in society through agricultural value addition, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), and food-for-health approaches.
He holds membership in several reputable national, regional, and global bodies working on health-related issues.

With extensive experience at PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation, Ojeleye has demonstrated her capabilities in various roles, including her current position as Program Manager. In this capacity, she spearheads initiatives such as the ENHANCE Project, C-19 RSSH Project, ongoing AmplifyChange Project, and SPACE4TB Project. Her responsibilities encompass the development of comprehensive program plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
Ojeleye excels in conducting needs assessments, setting objectives, and designing strategies to address health issues while advocating for relevant policies. She oversees the execution of program activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness through seamless coordination with stakeholders, including staff, partners, and community members. Monitoring progress, tracking key performance indicators, and managing program resources, including budgets and personnel, are among her core competencies.
Recognized for her leadership in advocacy efforts, Ojeleye champions policies and practices that align with the organization's mission and advance public health goals. She provides technical assistance and capacity-building support to staff, partners, and community organizations, facilitating training on health promotion strategies, advocacy techniques, and monitoring and evaluation methods.
Ojeleye's effective communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are complemented by her expertise in community management. She also brings a passion for counselling, with a track record of positively impacting lives through her words.
Educationally, Ojeleye holds a Master's degree in Peace and Development Studies from the prestigious University of Ilorin and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Peace, Security and Humanitarian Studies at the University of Ibadan. Her academic pursuits further enrich her ability to contribute meaningfully to organizational objectives and societal well-being.

With hands-on experience across multiple departments within his organization, Johnson brings a holistic understanding of project management and M&E functions. She currently serves as the Admin/Compliance Officer at PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation, where she plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, policy development, and compliance with organizational standards. Her responsibilities include managing records, addressing ethical concerns, and supporting smooth operations within the foundation.
Prior to joining PLAN Health Advocacy, Oluwakemi gained extensive experience as a Sales Officer and Marketer at Sunplast Industries Limited, where she successfully managed customer relations and sales records for seven years. She further honed her administrative skills through key roles at Vadalux Global Paints Resources Ltd and Exclusive Medical Care.
A graduate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Oluwakemi has completed the "Keep People Safe" course organized by AmplifyChange and procurement training from USAID-Scale Palladium.
Her dedication, strong management skills, and versatility make her an invaluable asset to PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation.

In her role, Ifedayo spearheads strategic communication planning, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across various platforms. She designs and implements advocacy strategies that promote policy change and social development while crafting high-quality content including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates to support the foundation’s objectives.
Her expertise extends to technical assistance, where she collaborates with colleagues and partners to develop effective communication materials. She also manages PLAN Foundation’s digital presence, overseeing website content and social media engagement to enhance outreach efforts.
A skilled media liaison, Ifedayo builds strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers, ensuring increased visibility for the foundation’s initiatives. She also coordinates press conferences, media interviews, and public events that advance the organization’s advocacy goals.

His core competencies also extend to tax administration, auditing, and internal control systems, which collectively support strong financial governance and compliance practices in any organization.
Emmanuel holds a degree in accounting and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM, Chartered). He is currently a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), at the Skills level, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development.
In addition to his accounting and finance expertise, he possesses certification in computer technology, enabling him to leverage digital tools and platforms effectively in financial analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency.

She possesses a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration and has refined her skills in Health and Human Management. She has also obtained certifications in Program Management in Global Health from the University of Washington and Program Evaluation from Udemy Academy.
Over the course of her career, Oluwaseun has served in various key roles, including Health and Counseling Officer, Secretary, and Team Lead. These experiences have equipped her with the skills necessary to contribute to organizational growth and success.
As a Program Officer at PLAN Foundation, Oluwaseun has demonstrated her expertise in community-driven initiatives. In her current role, she plays a crucial part in strengthening relationships with local communities by overseeing the successful implementation of programs. Her responsibilities include ensuring that program goals and objectives are met, identifying community needs, and developing tailored programs to address those needs. She also collaborates with stakeholders, such as government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders, to facilitate effective program delivery.
In addition, she manages the implementation of the GC7/C19RM Project and generates detailed program reports. Her role also involves conducting field random sampling to ensure comprehensive data collection and assessment.
Oluwaseun adds value to PLAN Foundation by leveraging her expertise in community engagement and development to drive impactful programs. She ensures that initiatives are not only relevant but also sustainable, ensuring that program goals are achieved and resources are optimized. She contributes to the continuous improvement and success of PLAN Foundation’s vision and strategic goals.

She brings expertise in data entry, report preparation, and office asset management, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Her effective communication and interpersonal skills enable her to foster strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
As a dedicated logistics officer, Rachael is driven to contribute to the success of PLAN Foundation’s programs and actively supports the advancement of the organisation’s mission.

She began her social work journey with Enhancing Nigeria’s Response (ENR) to HIV/AIDS as an Interpersonal Communication Facilitator, a role she held for six years.
Her commitment to social work has led her to gain valuable experience and training in various capacities, including HIV Testing and Counseling, Venue Outreach Staff (VOS), Peer Education, Drug Adherence Counseling, Expert Client Services, and Mentor Mother Support.
She is currently with PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation as a Southern Region Liaison Officer, where she represents the foundation across the Southern Region, with a special focus on Akwa Ibom State.
Margaret is known for her commitment and dedication to every assigned task. These exceptional qualities continue to highlight her relevance and impact within PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation.

Currently, Abosede serves as a Gender and Social Inclusion Officer with PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation (PLAN Foundation), where she provides technical support to mainstream gender and social inclusion into project planning, implementation, and reporting. In this role, she supports proposal writing and resource mobilization, ensuring donor-funded projects integrate inclusive approaches that benefit women, youth, and vulnerable populations. She also coordinates activities that strengthen community participation, engage stakeholders, and foster local ownership of development initiatives.
Abosede Ojo brings a diverse skill set in proposal development, project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and advocacy for gender equity and social inclusion. She is proficient in health data management tools such as DHIS2, ODK collect, SPSS, etcetera and also has a proven ability to use data to inform decisions and promote adaptive programming. Her certifications in Leadership and Health Management (University of Washington), Project Management, and Monitoring and Evaluation further enhance her ability to design, implement, and oversee projects with a strong focus on results and accountability.
Across her career, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to work with government agencies, international partners, NGOs, and community stakeholders to promote inclusive and equitable access to health services. Abosede is passionate about advancing gender equality, empowering vulnerable groups, and ensuring that health systems respond effectively to the needs of all people, especially women, children, and marginalized communities.
As a Gender and Social Inclusion Officer, she brings the unique blend of technical expertise, field experience, analytical skills, and advocacy capacity needed to strengthen organizational strategies, drive inclusive programming, and contribute to sustainable development outcomes.

About Us

PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation (PLAN Foundation), was the first independent support group for people with HIV (PHIV) in Oyo State in Southwestern Nigeria. It is on record that we had the opportunity to participate actively and notably in most of these processes.
