INTRODUCTION
The quarterly update meeting of the Project Working Group (PWG) for the EMBASSY Project was held on March 26th at the Board Room of the Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities. The meeting was conducted in person, with full attendance by all PWG members. Key attendees included Mrs. Oniyide Roseline and Mr. Lawal Kayode, representatives of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Oyo State Chapter, and Evangelist Olu Kayode, representing the Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities (OYSAPD). Staff members from PLAN Foundation also actively participated in the meeting.

Key Highlights and Achievements
The Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer from PLAN Foundation delivered an update on the progress of the Eliminating Multiple Barriers to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Among Young Girls and Women with Disabilities (EMBASSY) Project.
A key achievement presented was the development and printing of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) training manuals, which are now ready for distribution. These manuals serve as vital tools to guide inclusive SRH education and service provision across the project areas.
Preparations for the upcoming midline survey were also discussed, with emphasis on assessing the effectiveness of project interventions and identifying areas for improvement.
Furthermore, the M&E Officer reported on recent awareness visits conducted across clusters of persons with visual impairments in Okeho, covering Saki and Iseyin Local Government Areas in Oyo State. The objective of these visits was to raise awareness, stimulate demand for SRH services among women with disabilities, and facilitate referrals to selected Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities within their respective communities.
Conclusion
The meeting concluded with a strong reaffirmation of commitment from all Project Working Group (PWG) members to continue advancing the EMBASSY Project’s mission. Stakeholders pledged to sustain inclusive advocacy efforts, promote sexual and reproductive health rights, and enhance access to essential SRH services for persons with disabilities across Oyo State.
