As part of ongoing efforts under the EMBASSY Project to eliminate multiple barriers to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services among young girls and women with disabilities, PLAN Health Advocacy and Development Foundation (PLAN Foundation), with funding support from AmplifyChange, convened a Quarterly Update Virtual Meeting with members of the Project Working Group (PWG).
The meeting was held virtually and recorded full attendance of all PWG members. Key participants included Mrs. Oniyide Roseline and Mr. Lawal Kayode, representatives of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Oyo State Chapter; Evangelist Olu Kayode, representing the Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities (OYAPD); as well as staff members of PLAN Foundation, who actively participated in the meeting.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
The MEAL (Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and learning) Manager of PLAN Foundation presented a comprehensive update on the progress of the EMBASSY Project over the past two years. The discussions focused on activities implemented to date, particularly those carried out during the final project period as well as referrals.
These include:
- Quarterly project update meetings.
- Dissemination of six quarterly updates through the PLAN Foundation website and the project’s dedicated Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram platforms.
- A project wrap-up stakeholders’ meeting, during which the final project report and sustainability plan was discussed to guide EMBASSY Team advocacy activities beyond the project lifespan
- Six-monthly monitoring and evaluation analyses conducted to assess progress against planned outcomes.
In addition, the Manager presented comprehensive referral data from the 15
Primary Healthcare Centers supported by the EMBASSY Project, with a total of 344 referrals recorded through out the project.

CONCLUSION
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all Project Working Group members to continue advancing the mission of the EMBASSY Project beyond its official lifespan. Members reaffirmed their dedication to promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health rights and improving access for persons with disabilities in Oyo State through inclusive strategies and sustained advocacy.
